Application:

Ethylene glycol dimethyl ether: mainly used as a solvent for nitrocellulose, synthetic resins, paints, inks, etc. It has strong solubility and can be used as a solvent for paint stripping agents and diluents. Due to its good chemical stability, it can also be used as an inert solvent for organic synthesis.

Diethylene glycol dimethyl ether: In addition to the above applications, it can also be used as a solvent for water-based paints, a leveling agent for leather and fibers, and a leveling agent for photographic printing. Can be used as a non proton polar solvent in organic synthesis, as well as a solvent for anionic polymerization and coordination ion polymerization.

Triethylene glycol dimethyl ether: can be used as a high boiling point solvent in organic synthesis reactions, and can also be used as a desulfurization and decarbonization agent for the synthesis of ammonia or natural gas.

Tetraethylene glycol dimethyl ether: can be used as an excellent solvent for alkali metal hydrides. Used in various chemical reaction processes such as alkylation condensation and reduction. Due to its Lewis basicity, this compound can selectively absorb acidic gases for purification of gases such as synthesis gas, natural gas, acetylene, etc. (Note: This product should not be exposed to air for a long time, as it may form peroxides.)
